So, this is it. I'm getting this ball-a-rollin! Post numero uno. Not sure where this little blog is gonna go, or what I will say, but I love the thought of recording the journey.
Let's start by getting the elephant out of the room. I am very aware that no set of eyes, other than my own, may ever read this post, or this blog, but I am going to write as though there is. Why, you ask. First, let me ease your mind by assuring you that I'm not crazy. Promise. Well, no more than normal.
It is for two reasons, really. One, to help keep me committed to this little adventure. I think we all exude a bit more stick-to-it-iveness when we think others are watching. And two, I hope that one day there will be others joining me. You see, I haven't accomplished anything much in this life that would warrant others to listen to me, but I feel that many of us would be a little less worse-for-the-wear with a surrounding of people who "get" us, who feed our souls, and who are our friends on this pilgrimage we call life.
The words simple and grow totally resonate with me. I am a simple girl. Simple is where it's at for me, folks. I actually do wear flip-flops with everything. I long to make all areas of my life simple. That thought just makes me smile. In order to accomplish such simplicity I have several areas in my life that require growth (style, obviously being one of them). So that is my quest. To grow. To grow so I can live simply. To simply grow may just be to really live.
At this moment, my intentions for this blog are to discuss anything that falls under the topic of simple living and growing along the way. Be it motherhood, homeschooling, frugal living, spiritual growth, heck, there may even be some diy and gardening posts here, the list goes on. This site may evolve from that which I first intended it, but I welcome it to grow too. So friend, with that having been said, I will say good-bye for now. Until we write again:)
